About Us
We believe the spaces we live in should be functional, unique, and custom.
We design, build, and maintain landscapes and outdoor features from start to finish.
ONE-STOP SHOP
We handle your entire project. With our wide range of capabilities, you only have to work with one point-of-contact through the project. We are a local small business, so there aren’t multiple layers of people.
ONCE WE START, WE DON’T STOP
We dedicate a team and equipment to work continuously on your project until it’s complete. (Weather is our only potential delay!) We work efficiently to minimize the disruption to you.
QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP & RESPECT
Mixing quality materials with our skilled team is a recipe for building landscapes that will last. We treat your yard like our own and take the time to repair any areas impacted by our equipment.
COMMUNICATION IS KEY
We keep you updated on the progress and what to expect every step of the way so there are no surprises. We can communicate according to your preference: text, email, or phone.
CREATIVITY & AGILITY
We have vision for maximizing space, solving complex problems, and combining multiple elements and materials to produce elevated designs that don’t blend in. We enjoy the ability to pivot and make changes during the project if needed: we want you to love the end result because you get to live with it!
Who We Are
Ginkgo’s two mascots, Lola & Paco the French Bulldogs
Welcome to Ginkgo! We are owners Kate and Nick, a husband and wife duo living in Milwaukee.
From landscapes to hardscapes, planting to welding, Ginkgo can handle any outdoor project you hope to tackle. Nick has been working in landscaping since 2015. Prior to landscaping he was a welder, professional driver, and ran a taco truck. His experiences before landscaping have prepared him for this moment. He incorporates metal and welding into his designs whenever possible. He still gets to drive delivery equipment and materials to the jobsites. As for the tacos…he cooks for the team from time to time!
Entrepreneurship and plants are in Kate’s blood. Her family started a vegetable business that turned into a flower nursery. She never thought she would find herself back in the “family business.” She is loving every moment!
Nick founded Ginkgo Stonescapes in 2022, the same time he met Kate. They have been on this journey together from the start.
We’d love to work with you!
